“A Voice for the Silenced”: Sondra Roberts-Stott Writes with Empathy, Experience, and Emotional Power

PORTLAND, VICTORIA – In an age when many voices compete for attention, Sondra Roberts-Stott has emerged with a quiet but commanding presence in the literary world. A poet, novelist, and natural-born storyteller, Roberts-Stott’s writing is less about loud declarations and more about deep reflectionsthe kind that settle into the heart and stay there.

Now retired and writing full-time, Sondra’s life across three continents and over two dozen professions has gifted her a profound insight into the human condition. From teaching children to swim, to working as a veterinary nurse, to traversing rural Australia in a motorhome, her experiences inform every page she writes. Her stories, though fictional, are layered with memory, grief, joy, and redemption.

“I have lived a hundred lives,” Roberts-Stott says. “Each person I met, each job I worked, gave me a pebble of perspective. My work now is to piece those pebbles together into something whole.”

That whole has taken the shape of several poetry collections and, most recently, a highly anticipated novel titled Table 31 (also known under the theme Coffee, Truth and Courage). Her voice is poetic, raw, and unapologetically honest. She speaks for those who feel too broken, too tired, or too forgotten to speak for themselves.

Her author journey isn’t one driven by commercial ambition but by an intrinsic need to write. “I hope to give a voice to those who have never known how to express theirsor had it stolen by others,” she says.

Sondra Roberts-Stott is not just writing booksshe’s creating spaces where readers can exhale, reflect, and find courage.
